Hi, I’m Maryam!
I’ve graduated with an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School in July 2020. I’m a budding tech YouTuber with just over 500 subscribers right now. I’ve also been a runner up of an annual family Ludo Tournament in 2018! And I have a trophy to prove it 😉
What’s keeping me busy?
🎥 I’m currently in the process of building my personal brand via my YouTube channel, which focuses on providing tech product reviews and tech tips.
📝 I’m also working on building an audience through my weekly blogposts, which I also share on Medium, Quora and Typeshare.
💵 Previously I’ve worked in the banking industry within the Trade Finace space in India for 2 years and briefly within the business consulting space in the UK (during my 18 month MBA).
What do I seek?
📚 Learning about creating valuable content, building an audience and building a personal brand online through books, articles and podcasts. I’m currently reading The E-myth Revisited by Michael Gerber. It’s a good read so far!
📱 Keeping up with the latest in consumer tech, like phones, tablets, laptops, wearables and other peripherals. My recent obsession has been watching desk-setup videos and I hope to make a desk-setup that I’m proud of one day!
✈️ I love travelling and documenting my travel escapades through photography. I also like to dabble in photo editing to get a barrage of hearts on Instagram.
